Matt Hill for State Representative
Saint Paul father, public servant, and small business owner
A champion for Saint Paul
A letter from Matt
Dear Neighbor,
I filed to run for State Representative in House District 64A in the December 16th special DFL primary.
I’m running because 64A deserves someone who lives the same life you do: pays the same bills, raises kids in the same schools, and walks the same streets.
Here are the three priorities I will fight for every single day at the Capitol:
Safe Communities
Everyone deserves to live in a safe community. After years in leadership roles inside Ramsey County tackling the issues that hit our neighborhoods hardest, I’ll bring that real-world experience to the Capitol to support first responders and community-based safety programs, so every corner of 64A is a place where families, students, and residents feel secure.Championing Saint Paul
I grew up here, met my wife Katie here, and we’re raising our two kids here. From the river to downtown, Saint Paul’s success is Minnesota’s success. I’ll fight every single day to bring visible, measurable wins back to our Capitol City.Transparent & Accountable State Government
It hurts to see hard-earned tax dollars stolen through fraud, waste, and mismanagement. As a small business owner and a Personal Care Attendant for a close friend, I feel the impact of every lost dollar. We deserve a state government that’s as careful with our money as we are with ours. I’ll demand real audits, real oversight, and real consequences.
As a 41 year old, I see all generations that we need to serve, from my kids, to my spouse, parents, and grandparents. I’m not here for a title; I’m here to get things done for the neighborhoods I’ve called home my entire life.
And I’m deeply grateful to the dozens of neighbors, parents, small business owners, and community members who reached out over the past weeks and encouraged me to step up and run. This campaign belongs to all of us.
